I am really excited to share this collection with you! Even though, if you’re a scrapbooker, this is probably one of the multitudes of holiday collections you’ve seen, this collection is dear to me.
It wasn’t so many years ago that I really started to feel disinterested in Christmas, the magic of childhood had faded and I wasn’t really sure what the point of Christmas was. I found the holiday cheesy, annoyingly commercial and politicized. I was a Christmas grinch, a miss scrooge.
But I am glad to say that Christmas, and particularly the Advent season, is more dear to me now than it ever was. I love that this is a season of glitter and lights, gifts and blessings, small joys and large gatherings. I believe that all of these things are wonderful ways to celebrate the Christmas gift of our Savior’s birth.
Wherever you are with Christmas this year, I hope that this collection brings some joy to your holiday.
I was hoping to have a prayer journaling layout to share with you, but I have to confess that I haven’t been good a prayer journaling at all this week! I’m going to slow down a bit for the rest of the month and try to savor this time, so while I may not have another release as soon as usual, I will hopefully be back early next week with some prayer journalling to share with you.
And don’t forget, you still have until December 16th for a chance to win a $5 coupon to the Two More Days shop.
Here’s how it works:
- Make a layout with any Two More Days designs (including the Free Advent Album templates or Oh, Hello).
- Upload your layout to Scrap Stacks.
- Come back here an leave the link to your layout on this blog post by midnight central time on December 16th, 2012.
I’ve got one entry so far, so you’re odds of winning are pretty good, and who knows, I might end up giving away more than one prize. :)
